As our team continues to grow, we are being intentional about how we build connection, how we share and collaborate across programming areas, and overall how we co-create a liberatory approach to our work.
Our team retreat in San Diego was an opportunity to practice being together (both in-person and virtually) and a time to plan and vision the next 30/60/90 days and beyond.
We ate (you know we love to eat!), laughed, gathered by the ocean, painted, and celebrated together! We collected our learnings from our experience and want to share them with our community in hopes of sparking possibilities for what remote teamwork in movement spaces can look like right now. Check out some photos and our learnings below!
We hope these little nuggets will spark ideas for what remote teamwork in movement spaces can look like right now.

Keeping each other & our communities safe is essential. During this pandemic, this looks like masking, testing, staying outdoors, and allowing for virtual/hybrid participation.
