Our first Black Mama Magic: Mothering Ourselves which was a huge success! Deepening out commitment to self-care as a strategy of planting seeds for our collective Black FUTURE–this gathering combined care with community.
Shout out to the beautiful Black Mamas who gathered, engaging in various activities from an interactive Bingo game, to deep conversations about what it means to Mother Ourselves where mamas shared their unique perspectives. After a delicious brunch, we gathered around a healing table filled with ingredients to make body scrubs–oils, essential oils, fresh herbs, and exfoliants.

The gathering was connective and affirming. Being in community other Black mamas uplifting and providing each other pampering touch. When we invest in one another we contribute to a world of Black liberated parents who can show up whole for their children.
