For #WomensHistoryMonth, Parenting for Liberation wants to honor Black mama’s who are doing the work of raising liberated children. Throughout the month of March we will highlight Black mamas who lead, inspire, and cultivate liberation in their homes and in the community. Some are public figures and others are connected to our network. We are happy to honor and shine light on their Black Mama Magic!
Today we salute Ida McRae, a Black Muslim mother who is a social worker who strives to support the social and emotional wellbeing of her community and she does a lot of work to destigmatize mental health for communities of color and Muslim families. Check out her interview with Parenting for Liberation podcast, which launched today!
