The Life School: Where #Blerds Thrive. Interview with Mikala Streeter on Alternative Educational Environments


While dealing with the limiting and dehumanizing, rigid school district policies regarding my own son, it was refreshing to be in conversation with a dynamic African American educator who’s started her own school which is a site of liberation–where the student’s passions and interests are that which guide the learnings in the school (as opposed to some rubric and universal metric system).
